Job Description
PrideGlobal is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician/Maintenance Team Lead to oversee maintenance operations in a high-speed, automated food manufacturing facility. This role will lead a team of 12–15 maintenance technicians, ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
- Oversee maintenance of high-speed packaging lines, mechanical systems, automated equipment, and robotic arms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex equipment issues and coordinate with OEMs for specialized maintenance.
- Implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and utilize Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM).
- Monitor KPIs including equipment uptime, Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and SQF regulations, food safety requirements, and quality standards.
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of 12–15 maintenance technicians.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes, reduce waste, and drive operational excellence.
- Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, employee involvement, and zero loss.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of maintenance experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and automated systems, particularly high-speed packaging equipment.
- Knowledge of TPM, RCM, RCFA, and Preventive Maintenance Optimization (PMO).
- Experience with PLC programming and robotic systems such as FANUC, KUKA, ABB, or Universal Robots.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team of maintenance technicians.
- Familiarity with CMMS/EAM software for scheduling, tracking, and completing work orders.
- Willingness to travel within the U.S. and Canada once or twice a year for training.
