Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team in providing exceptional nutritional care within our healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, service, and sanitation duties to ensure residents receive nutritious and appealing meals in a safe and clean environment. Duties
- Assist with food production and meal preparation in accordance with dietary guidelines and safety standards
- Serve meals to residents or patients with professionalism and excellent customer service skills
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dining areas, and food service equipment through proper sanitation and cleaning procedures
- Busing tables, clearing plates, and ensuring dining areas are tidy after meals
- Follow proper food handling, safety, and sanitation protocols to prevent contamination
- Support dietary department staff with inventory management, food storage, and portioning tasks
- Assist in meal set-up and breakdown for various dining services
- Adhere to all health regulations related to food safety and sanitation standards
Experience
- Previous experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Culinary or dietary aide experience is a plus
- Familiarity with food handling, serving, and sanitation practices is beneficial
- Strong time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within scheduled meal times
- Customer service experience demonstrating professionalism and compassion in a healthcare environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper kitchen procedures is advantageous

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
