Responsibilities
- Monitor construction sites through CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Control access to the site by performing thorough background checks on visitors, contractors, and personnel entering or leaving the premises.
- Conduct regular patrols around the site to ensure safety protocols are being followed and to identify potential hazards or security issues.
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies by coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
- Perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of security equipment or materials when required, following proper safety procedures.
- Utilize conflict management skills to de-escalate tense situations calmly and professionally.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for reporting purposes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields with a focus on surveillance and site protection.
- Knowledge of CCTV systems, loss prevention techniques, and performing background checks.
- Certifications in first aid (including CPR and AED operation), Taser use, and conflict management are highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely while adhering to safety standards.
- Strong observational skills with an eye for detail in surveillance activities such as CCTV monitoring.
- Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and effectively managing conflicts.
- Valid security license or certification as required by local regulations; willingness to obtain necessary credentials if not already held.
