Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy scalable web applications using frameworks such as Django, Spring Framework, Ruby on Rails, or ASP.NET.
- Design and implement responsive web designs ensuring optimal performance across devices using HTML, CSS, SCSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript frameworks like Angular or React.
- Manage database integrations with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, SQLite, and other data storage solutions; optimize queries using SQL and data visualization techniques.
- Build and maintain APIs utilizing RESTful services, GraphQL, SOAP protocols, ensuring seamless data exchange between systems.
- Implement containerization and orchestration with Docker, AWS services, Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, Ansible automation tools, and version control systems such as GitHub or SVN.
- Collaborate within Agile teams using tools like Jira or Trello to plan sprints, track progress, and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Conduct unit testing and code reviews to uphold best practices in software development life cycle (SDLC), ensuring robust security measures are in place for web services.
- Enhance website functionality by integrating CMS platforms like WordPress or Drupal; optimize for SEO and improve user flows for better UX.
- Develop scalable system architecture to support e-commerce platforms or other web-based applications with a focus on responsiveness and performance scalability.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in full-stack web development with proficiency in JavaScript (including frameworks such as Angular or React), Python (Django), Java (Spring Framework), PHP (WordPress), or C# (.NET).
- Strong understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3 (and SCSS), JavaScript libraries like jQuery and AJAX.
- Hands-on experience with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, SQLite; knowledge of SQL query optimization.
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms such as AWS or Azure; experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of system architecture principles for developing responsive and scalable web applications; experience working within Agile methodologies using Jira or Trello.
- Ability to develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party web services using JSON or XML data formats; understanding of SOAP protocols and GraphQL is a plus.
- Experience with DevOps practices including automation with Ansible or similar tools; familiarity with Linux environments is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication abilities; demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
