Job Summary
Central Healthcare Services LLC is seeking an experienced and results-driven Operations Director to oversee the daily operations of our Home Health and Ohio DODD programs. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, operational excellence, quality service delivery, staff development, and sustainable business growth.
The Operations Director will work closely with the Owner to manage agency operations, implement policies and procedures, maintain compliance with Ohio Medicaid, DODD, ODM, and accreditation standards, and lead the agency through audits, expansion, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the Home Health and DODD divisions.
- Ensure compliance with Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM), Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD), HIPAA, and all applicable federal and state regulations.
- Develop, implement, and monitor agency policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Prepare for and manage Medicaid, DODD, and accreditation surveys, audits, and compliance reviews.
- Oversee client admissions, service coordination, staffing, scheduling, and program operations.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate administrative staff, nurses, home health aides, and Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
- Monitor documentation, EVV compliance, billing processes, and payroll coordination.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with County Boards of Developmental Disabilities, Managed Care Organizations (Molina, CareSource, Buckeye, etc.), referral sources, hospitals, and community partners.
- Develop operational strategies that support agency growth, client satisfaction, and financial performance.
- Prepare and manage departmental budgets, monitor expenses, and identify opportunities for operational efficiencies.
- Analyze operational and financial data to improve performance and achieve organizational goals.
- Lead performance improvement initiatives and promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, and high-quality care.
- Perform additional leadership responsibilities as assigned by the Owner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, Public Health, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience in Home Health, DODD, or Medicaid-funded healthcare services.
- Strong knowledge of Ohio Medicaid, DODD regulations, home health operations, compliance, and audit requirements.
- Experience with provider enrollment, licensing, accreditation, EVV, billing, and quality assurance.
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Strong financial management, budgeting, and operational planning skills.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience opening or growing a Home Health or DODD agency.
- Experience with Medicare and Medicaid billing and reimbursement.
- Knowledge of OhioRISE and waiver programs.
- Established relationships within Ohio's healthcare and DODD community.

Pay: $58,668.64 - $70,654.70 per year
