Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Service Manager to lead our mobile and in house RV service department with enthusiasm and expertise. Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all aspects of the RV service department, including scheduling, workflow management, and quality control.
- Supervise service technicians, ensuring adherence to safety standards, technical procedures, and customer satisfaction goals.
- Oversee vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance procedures such as roof and flooring replacements, AC, water heater, furnace and other appliance replacements and repairs, and auto body repairs.
- Manage customer interactions by providing expert advice on RV repairs and maintenance needs; upsell additional services when appropriate to enhance customer value.
- Ensure accurate RV estimating and service writing; handle cash transactions responsibly while maintaining transparency with customers.
- Monitor inventory levels for parts and supplies; coordinate with vendors to ensure timely availability of materials needed for repairs.
- Foster a team-oriented environment that emphasizes continuous training in automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and customer service excellence.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership experience with a strong background in RV service management.
- Extensive mechanic experience with RV diagnostics and repair across various systems including air conditioners, water heaters, plumbing and 12v electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated ability in RV estimating, service writing, and upselling techniques to maximize revenue opportunities as well as communicating with insurance and ESC companies.
- Knowledge of RV repair procedures such as all repairs and replacements interior and exterior.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
- Experience managing cash handling processes accurately while maintaining integrity.
