Job Description:

PURPOSE OF JOB:

Monitor and optimize PAFS departmental use of technology and applications to drive process improvement and ensure key performance metrics and quality measures are met. Collaborates with the Sr. Manager to establish organizational strategies, initiatives, and best practices that propel the DH mission forward.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Monitor and maintain systems functionality for all PAFS systems

Review registration quality data for all areas; identify needs for education or process improvement ; collaborate with Patient Access management team to implement

Evaluate staff performance against established KPI for registration quality and revenue cycle goals; identify and monitor trends for improvement in KPI

Work with PAFS Mgmt team to provide staff education for optimizing use of systems and meeting quality metrics

Liaison for payers and system vendors; collaborate to resolve issues

Job Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High School degree or equivalent is required

Associates degree or higher, preferred

Experience: 3 years Hospital registration or office experience required.

Other Skills: Build strong customer service relationships, ensuring exceptional service

Strong problem-solving skills

Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects simultaneously

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills

Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively will all levels of employees, management and external vendors
