About the Role
We are hiring Part-Time Coaches to lead structured soccer sessions focused on child development. This is a physically active, high-engagement role. Coaches lead small groups of kids, using our curriculum and creating a positive, safe, and encouraging environment for every child. We are looking for reliable individuals who enjoy working with children and can bring consistent energy to each session.
What You Will Do
- Lead 10–20 weekly soccer sessions at preschools, schools, and parks
- Follow a structured curriculum (no lesson planning required)
- Manage groups of young children in a fun and safe way
- Communicate with parents, teachers, and site staff
- Represent Soccer Shots professionally in the community
Schedule, Pay and Benefits
- Part-Time (10–20 sessions per week)
- Must be available at least two weekdays and Saturdays are required
- Locations vary across San Diego County (Imperial Beach east to Eastlake and north to Escondido)
- $18–$22.50/hr for lead coaching (based on experience)
- Mileage reimbursement (IRS rate)
- Monthly phone stipend

Are You a Fit and Requirements
- Individuals with experience in sports, education, childcare, or related fields
- Those who prefer active, on-your-feet work over desk jobs
- Reliable car, valid Driver License, proof of insurance and clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry soccer equipment (~40 lbs)
- Comfortable working outdoors and being physically active
- Background check and TB test required
About Soccer Shots
Soccer Shots East County San Diego, LLC, is a tight-knit team of motivated and passionate individuals who love impacting our local San Diego youth through the game of soccer. We coach kids aged 18 months-10 years old and provide weekly sessions with high quality, engaging soccer classes. It's more than kicking a ball and scoring goals with Soccer Shots, as our curriculum is centered around child development. We teach the child on their level, which means we turn ourselves into dinosaurs and superheroes each and every week to ensure kids are engaged and having a ton of fun.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.50 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 28.0 per week
