KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER
Summary:
The Key Account Manager will have the opportunity to make impactful contributions within an insurance, financial services, and B2B/B2B2C partner environment. This role is responsible for delivering engaging training programs, strengthening sales and account management capability, and managing strategic partner relationships to drive retention, adoption, measurable outcomes, and incremental revenue growth from existing corporate partners. The position will involve direct interaction with all levels of team members internally and externally, with our US-based partners. The ultimate measure of their success will be incremental revenue growth generated from existing U.S. partners.
Responsibilities:
- Understand partner priorities and long-term industry trends and direct FIMC’s focus accordingly.
- Establish strong business relationships at mid- to senior management levels and regularly look to strengthen them.
- Be a proactive solutions-provider that advances shared interests and business goals.
- Assist in developing and facilitating training for frontline experts and leaders that help support desired behaviors; partner with cross-functional teams (instructional design, learning & development, etc.) to design and deploy.
Skills & Qualifications:
The individual will need to be proficient in building relationships and trust, training and development, leadership, project management, strategic planning, innovation, and negotiation.
Background Needed to Excel –
- Previous experience in a B2B (ideally B2B2C) environment with direct experience managing channel partners as sellers or distributors, such as selling product through business partners, affinity groups and member organizations.
- Financial services sector experience, ideally in banking, lending, insurance, warranties, or credit cards.
- 3+ years as a Key Account Manager or Strategic Account Manager successfully growing and retaining enterprise sized accounts in a B2B (ideally B2B2C) environment.
- Proficient working with CMS systems, Virtual Meeting software (Zoom, MS Teams, etc.), and MS Office products, AI proficiency.
- BS/BA required
- Leadership, influence, and strong analytical skills with an ability to convince others using data and market knowledge to achieve expected results, being fact based and persuasive – capable of engaging both internal and external resources to achieve results through others.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
