Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Video Editor / Videographer to join our vibrant media team with Dame Dash! In this role, you will be at the forefront of visual storytelling, transforming raw footage into compelling narratives that captivate audiences across multiple platforms. Your expertise in videography, editing, and motion graphics will help elevate our brand’s visual identity and engage viewers with high-quality content. Duties
- Capture high-quality video footage using professional filming techniques and lighting for diverse projects including promotional videos, events, and social media content
- Edit raw footage with industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid to produce polished videos aligned with creative briefs
- Incorporate motion graphics, visual effects, and typography using Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, or Maya to enhance storytelling and visual appeal
- Manage audio and video processing tasks including color correction, color grading, sound editing, and audio synchronization to ensure professional output
- Develop engaging storyboards and conceptualize creative ideas that align with brand messaging and campaign goals
- Collaborate with content creators, designers, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive visual narratives across all media channels
- Maintain organized media libraries using FTP servers and content management systems for efficient workflow and easy access
Requirements
- Proven experience in videography and video editing with a strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling through visuals
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, InDesign, Bridge, and Capture One
- Skilled in photo editing, photo manipulation, and graphic design to complement video projects
- Knowledge of lighting techniques for video production to achieve optimal image quality in various environments
- Familiarity with 3D animation (Maya), 2D animation tools (Cinema 4D), and motion graphics creation to add depth to visual stories
- Technical proficiency with media editing tools such as Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer, and other industry-standard software
- Strong understanding of color correction/editing processes and post-production workflows for seamless final delivery
- Ability to operate filming equipment confidently while maintaining safety standards during shoots
- Excellent communication skills to articulate creative ideas clearly and work collaboratively within a team environment
