Disability and Inclusion Services Coordinator
Salary: $45,000 annual salary
Job Summary: Friedberg JCC seeks an experienced Disability and Inclusion Services Coordinator to assist
in developing programming for individuals with disabilities in a community group setting and supervising
program support staff.
Essential Functions:
Plans logistics for and oversees monthly events for disability/inclusion program participants
Monitors skills building and recreational classes offered for program participants for
effectiveness
Liaises with class instructors to ensure delivery of programming to participants is to fidelity
Documents/reports on class and program participation by collecting accurate attendance and
follows through on any documentation associated with protocols (i.e. incident reports, health
checks, etc.)
Collaborates with the Director of Disability and Inclusion Services to develop new classes,
programs, and events for individuals with disabilities
Assists the Director of Disability and Inclusion Services in communicating with fiscal
intermediaries and self-direction brokers, community habilitation staff, parents/caregivers, and
colleagues as needed to ensure program/class delivery to participants
Adheres to all safety and security protocols and procedures of the organization, programs
within, and regulatory/oversight entities
Knowledge and Skills:
Possesses strong problem-solving and organizational skills
Is detail oriented and exercises sound judgment
Presents with a positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times
Proficient in the use of technological platforms such as Google Suite or Outlook
Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities required
Experience supervising staff in an OPWDD setting or other group community/learning
environment serving adolescent and adult individuals with disabilities preferred
Possesses a valid or is willing to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification provided by Friedberg JCC
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises 5-10 Direct Support Professionals in their competency to engage with and
supervise adolescent and adult individuals with developmental disabilities
Position Type/Expected Work Hours:
Full-time 30 hours per week, including 4-5 hours on Sundays (daytime)
This role does not include driving responsibilities
Required Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Pay: $45,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
