Manufacturing Engineer - Kearney, Nebraska
$100,000 – $110,000 + 10% bonus + 10% bonus | On-site | Full-time
We're recruiting a Manufacturing Engineer for a global manufacturer based in Kearney, NE. Broad, autonomous role, you'll be the senior technical resource for the facility, owning troubleshooting, capital projects and vendor management across production and facility equipment.
After-hours and weekend call-outs are a real part of this role. We're being upfront about that.
What You'll Be Doing
- High-level troubleshooting across production and facility equipment (steam, water, compressed air, production lines)
- Owning capital projects end to end — specification, vendors, budget, commissioning
- Coordinating external contractors and suppliers
- Maintaining equipment drawings, PM plans and procedures
- Interfacing with operations, maintenance and global engineering
What We Need
- 5+ years of manufacturing or plant engineering experience
- Strong hands-on troubleshooting — this is the number one requirement
- PLC experience (troubleshooting focus — Allen Bradley preferred, one platform sufficient)
- Project ownership experience end to end
- Engineering degree
Industry background is open, steel, utilities, automotive, food and beverage, general manufacturing all considered.
