To assist the Valve Repair Department in all aspects of testing and repairing relief valves, in the shop or in the field, while maintaining a professional attitude.
- Dis-Assembly of Valves.
- Performs sandblasting.
- Cleans Valves.
- Inspects Valves.
- Properly documents testing, repairing, and information from the nameplates on the relief valve.
- Demonstrates excellent customer relations abilities.
- Performs shop maintenance.
- Performs re-machining or lapping.
- Travels with mobile unit.
- Climbs up to 100ft.
- Lifts up to 75lbs.
- Wears respirator when required.
- Ability to completely repair spring loaded relief valves.
- Must have working knowledge of pilot relief valves.
- Leadership Abilities.
- Ability to accurately complete all documentation required.
- Capability of sandblasting, cleaning, inspecting, disassembling, re-machining, and lapping valves.
- Capable of lifting up to 75lbs.
- Ability to physically and medically wear a respirator.
- Ability to travel up to two weeks per month.
- Must complete Mercer's Training Program.
