Position: Ultrasound Tech or Sonohgrapher
Specialty: General ab/ob small parts
Shift: Days M-F, 0800-1630, 40hrs weekly
Job Description:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations and provide high-quality patient care.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure quality assurance standards.
- Manage daily sonography room operations and patient scheduling.
- Report equipment malfunctions and assist with quality improvement processes.
- Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology program.
- ARDMS certification required in Abdomen, OB/GYN, and Vascular.
- Breast and Adult Echocardiography certifications preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Maintain CME requirements and stay current with advances in ultrasound technology.
- Strong communication skills, professionalism, and commitment to patient-centered care.
