Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Turret Operator to operate CNC turret punch presses and produce quality sheet metal parts according to production specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience operating turret machines, reading blueprints, and using measuring tools.
Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC turret punch press machinery.
- Set up and load materials into the machine.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
- Verify dimensions and part specifications using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy.
- Make basic machine adjustments as needed.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and keep the work area clean.
- Follow all safety procedures and production requirements.
- Meet daily production and quality goals.
- Work with different types and gauges of sheet metal.
Qualifications:
- Previous turret punch/CNC machine operating experience required.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
- Ability to work with sheet metal.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move materials as required.
- Must be dependable and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Pay: $20 per hour depending on experience WEEKLY PAY
Schedule: 5 am - 2 pm M-F
Location: Garland, TX
