A growing and innovative dental laboratory in the Rochester, NY area is seeking an experienced Dental Lab Technician to join its full-arch production team. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented technician who enjoys hands-on finishing work, follows structured laboratory protocols, and takes pride in producing high-quality dental restorations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong dental laboratory background, excellent manual dexterity, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Position Summary:
The Dental Lab Technician will review dentists’ prescriptions and follow established laboratory protocols to finish full-arch dental restorations. This role requires strong attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to meet quality standards in a fast-paced lab environment.
Essential Responsibilities:

Review clinical prescriptions and follow dentist instructions accurately.

Finish full-arch dental restorations according to lab protocols.

Use hand tools, rotary instruments, and polishing equipment to contour, trim, characterize, and polish prosthetics.

Evaluate fit, function, occlusion, and overall accuracy of full-arch prostheses using articulators and bite tables.

Remove excess material and polish prostheses or frameworks.

Maintain clean and organized finishing tools, handpieces, and workstations.

Follow all safety, quality, and procedural protocols.

Communicate clearly with coworkers, lab management, and other departments to support workflow and quality.

Assist with other laboratory duties as needed.
Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of dental laboratory experience required.

Experience with finishing, polishing, contouring, or full-arch restorations preferred.

High School Diploma or GED required.

CDT designation preferred, but not required.

Strong attention to detail and quality.

Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
