Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Painter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying protective and decorative coatings to a variety of industrial equipment, machinery, and fabricated components. Your expertise will ensure that products meet quality standards, are durable, and have an appealing finish. Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality.
- Operate airless paint spraying equipment, brushes, rollers, and other hand tools to apply coatings efficiently.
- Use precision measuring instruments and fabrication tools to ensure accurate application and alignment of painted components.
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and proper storage of paints, solvents, and related materials.
Skills
- Proficiency with industrial painting techniques.
- Experience with construction painting projects and the use of hand tools such as sanders, grinders, and brushes.
- Ability to boom lifts or construction machinery safely.
- Strong understanding of materials handling procedures for heavy or hazardous materials.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow efficiency.
- Competence in using precision measuring instruments and basic math skills for accurate application.
- Experience with power tools such as drills, sanders, grinders, and air tools.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Able to work at high heights.
- Good attitude.
