Job Summary:
We are looking for a Field Territory Sales Representative to join our Aerial & Construction business development team out of our Des Moines and surrounding Iowa area. The Field Territory Sales Representative position is responsible for developing new, used and rental equipment sales strategies to attract and retain clients in a pre-determined assigned territory. This is a fast-paced position that needs an experienced, driven individual with a proven track record for establishing, building and maintaining relationships.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Understands the Company's products as well as competitive products; can specify, recommend, and sell equipment.

Be the main point of contact between the company and several customer accounts for Aerial & Construction (Scissor Lifts, Boom Lifts, Telehandlers, Rough Terrain Forklifts) equipment.

Maintain a cadence of communicating and/or visiting with customers.
- Drive customer growth and retention by understanding their business needs and helping them succeed.

Research accounts and generate or follow through on sales leads.
- Understand customer outcomes and communicate account reviews by analyzing customer fleet metrics such as cost per running hour, equipment age, and rental usage.

Collaborate closely with Customer Service Manager & Service Technicians to support customers, renewals, and expansion opportunities.

Attend meetings, sales events, and training to keep abreast of the latest developments.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience working with a CRM product.

Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management.

Track record of maintaining and overachieving benchmarks and quotas.

Verifiable analytical skills and experience in making sound business decisions.

Self-motivated and driven.

Time management and attention to detail.

Must reside in the assigned territory.

Must possess a valid driver's license.
Education and Experience:
-
High school diploma or GED
-
Associates degree or vocational school training preferred

Material handling and/or transportation and logistics industry experience a plus
Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk.

Must be able to lift up to 15lbs at times.
