We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide exceptional post-operative care for patients of our triple board-certified cosmetic surgeons.
This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate, detail-oriented provider who enjoys building patient relationships and delivering outstanding surgical aftercare in a fast-paced, aesthetic environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct post-operative follow-up visits for cosmetic surgery patients.
- Assess healing progress and identify potential complications.
- Perform wound care, dressing changes, drain removal, suture/staple removal, and other post-operative treatments as appropriate.
- Educate patients on recovery expectations, medications, activity restrictions, and home care instructions.
- Document comprehensive and accurate patient encounters within the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Communicate patient concerns and clinical findings with the surgeon and clinical team.
- Provide compassionate, personalized care while ensuring an exceptional patient experience.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in good standing.
- Experience in surgery, plastic surgery, cosmetic surgery, dermatology, wound care, or a related surgical specialty preferred.
- Excellent clinical assessment and patient education skills.
- Strong documentation and EMR proficiency.
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the surgeon and clinical staff.
