Vigilant Healthcare Solutions is seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a full-time, long-term contract opportunity in Dallas, TX.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced CRNAs and Nurse Anesthetists specializing in a GI/Interventional Radiology-focused environment, with a flexible day schedule alongside a highly skilled clinical team.
CRNA RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administer anesthesia and monitored anesthesia care (MAC) for a high-volume GI and Interventional Radiology caseload
- Support OR-based cases as needed, including colorectal and GYN oncology procedures
- Perform comprehensive pre-anesthetic assessments and develop patient-specific anesthesia plans
- Monitor patient hemodynamics and vital signs intraoperatively, making real-time clinical adjustments
- Manage airways and ventilation across a variety of procedural settings
- Collaborate with gastroenterologists, interventional radiologists, surgeons, and perioperative nursing teams
- Maintain accurate anesthesia documentation and comply with all facility and regulatory standards
CRNA REQUIREMENTS
- Active CRNA certification from the NBCRNA
- Active RN and APRN licensure in Texas or eligibility to obtain
- Minimum 1–2 years of clinical CRNA experience; GI/IR anesthesia experience a plus
- Current ACLS and BLS certification required
- Proficiency with MAC and sedation techniques in addition to general anesthesia
- Strong adaptability and comfort working across GI lab and OR settings
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-first approach
SCHEDULE
- Locum/Travel | Full-Time Contract
- Day shifts — flexible scheduling; approximately 40 hours/week (36 hours considered)
- Tuesday–Friday preference; specific days flexible based on candidate availability
