Duties
- Perform professional grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and nail clipping for dogs and other small animals.
- Handle animals with care and confidence, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the grooming process.
- Expert in pet handling techniques such as animal restraint to facilitate safe grooming sessions.
- Perform pet care activities like ear cleaning, brushing, and de-shedding to promote overall health.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand grooming preferences and provide recommendations for ongoing pet care.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and ready for use.
- Support additional animal care tasks if necessary.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in pet grooming and dog handling.
- Knowledge and ability to perform specialty breed cuts is required.
- Strong animal handling skills with an understanding of animal restraint and safety protocols.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (heavy lifting) and perform physically demanding tasks comfortably.
- Excellent customer service skills to engage pet owners positively and professionally.

Pay: $22,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
