The Marywood University School of Humanities invites applications for part-time instructors in Political Science. Candidates must be available to teach online or in-person courses at the Marywood campus in Scranton, PA during daytime or evening hours. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate core curriculum courses and undergraduate Political Science courses required by majors in Criminal Justice, History, Pre-Law, and Social Work.
We encourage candidates with any specialty to apply, but the School of Humanities has immediate needs for the following courses:
- PS 210 American Government
- PS 211 Pennsylvania State and Local Government
Required Qualifications:
A Masters degree in Political Science or a Juris Doctor degree is required along with a commitment to teaching excellence.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate-level courses in Political Science.
