About the Role
PipeX's Warehouse team members are responsible for performing a variety of tasks in a warehouse environment to ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods. Their primary duties include receiving incoming shipments, organizing inventory, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments for delivery. Warehouse Associates may also operate forklifts or other equipment to move and handle materials safely.
Essential Responsibilities
- Pack orders securely, ensuring items are protected during transit, and label packages with appropriate shipping information.
- Use handheld scanners or warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including sweeping floors, removing debris, and disposing of packaging materials.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and according to company policies and procedures.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
Additional Responsibilities
- Forklift Certified
- Basic math skills for counting, sorting, and recording inventory.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order picking, packing, and inventory management.
- Strong communication skills to interact with coworkers and follow instructions from managers.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and workload demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive work culture.
Knowledge, Certificates & Skills
- Computer literacy
