Duties
- Operate asphalt pavers and related heavy machinery with precision to lay asphalt according to project specifications
- Coordinate with the construction crew to ensure proper material placement and paving techniques
- Conduct routine inspections of paving equipment, perform minor maintenance, and troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly
- Assist with loading materials using loaders or excavators, ensuring timely delivery of supplies to the paving site
- Support concrete forming, finishing, and pouring activities as needed for adjacent construction tasks
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment and adherence to site safety procedures
Requirements
- MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL - Work can be done in multiple states such as Washington, Oregon, Idaho and potentially other states on the west side of the country.
- Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as asphalt pavers, loaders, excavators, and dump trucks
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to paving machinery and general construction tools
- Ability to read construction plans, blueprints, and technical specifications accurately
- Valid driver’s license required
- Experience with rebar installation, concrete forming, and general construction site procedures is highly desirable
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive approach to safety and quality standards

Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
