About This Role
Warwick Day Care Center is seeking a caring, reliable Part-Time Afternoon Assistant to join our team! This role is perfect for someone who loves working with young children and wants to be part of a warm, supportive, community-centered environment.
Schedule:
Afternoons, Monday–Friday
Shift ends at closing time, 6:30 PM

Ability to follow center policies and support children’s safety at all times

Experience in childcare is a plus, but we are happy to train the right person!
What You'll Do
-
Support classroom teachers with daily routines, play-based learning, and transitions
-
Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and positive environment
-
Support end-of-day cleanup and preparing classrooms for the next day

Build relationships with children, families, and staff

Contribute to a calm, smooth closing routine for our center
Requirements

Must be dependable and comfortable working with young children

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Prior childcare experience preferred but not required

Must be at least 16 years old

Must clear full background check & health screening.
Available to work Monday-Friday until 6:30 pm.

Infant/child CPR & 1st Aid certification (will train)
