Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
- Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or food pairings to enhance their experience
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards and health regulations
- Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting
- Manage bar inventory, monitor stock levels, and place orders for supplies as needed
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give accurate change while ensuring a smooth flow during busy hours
Experience
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining or high-volume restaurant settings with strong cocktail-making skills
- Knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
- Demonstrated ability in beverage recipe development, mixology techniques, and spirits knowledge
- Experience with wine service, beer brewing or craft beer selection is highly desirable
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Familiarity with food handling procedures, food safety standards, and basic math for accurate measurements and cash handling
- Previous hospitality industry experience including banquet or catering environments is a plus
