## Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. This position involves both in-house (shop) repairs and road service calls. The ideal candidate will have experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of equipment including agricultural, construction, and turf machinery.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on heavy equipment
- Handle both in-shop and field service calls
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Complete service reports and maintain accurate records
- Ensure all work is performed safely and efficiently
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers
Qualifications:
- Experience working on heavy equipment (agricultural, construction, turf preferred)
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in the field
- Valid driver’s license required
- CDL preferred, but not required
