Englewood Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Radiologist Assistant (RRA) to join our Radiology team. This advanced-level role functions as a clinical extender and patient advocate, working under the supervision of a licensed radiologist to deliver exceptional imaging and patient care. The RRA plays a key role in performing advanced imaging procedures such as paracentesis, thyroid biopsies, fluoroscopy , assessing patients, and supporting diagnostic and therapeutic workflows of services. This position is essential to ensuring safe, efficient, and compassionate care across our imaging services. About the Opportunity
- Monday through Friday 8am-4pm
- Work alongside expert radiologists with subspecialty expertise in breast imaging, neuroradiology, musculoskeletal radiology, and other areas
- Serve our community and patients with the most advanced diagnostic equipment, timely results, and efficient communication with referring physicians

What your day will look like
- Obtain patient medical histories, perform focused physical assessments, and document findings
- Explain imaging procedures, address patient concerns, and secure informed consent when delegated
- Assess contraindications and record vital signs before, during, and after procedures
- Perform delegated fluoroscopic procedures (training available) (e.g., GI studies, arthrograms, myelograms, tube placements, joint injections, HSG, venous access support) as permitted by NJ BME/DEP regulations
- Perform additional delegated procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist, including but not limited to, thyroid biopsies, paracentesis, thoracentesis, lumbar punctures, and ultrasound guided aspirations and drainages as permitted by NJ BME/DEP regulations
- Position patients and operate fluoroscopic and imaging equipment in compliance with radiation safety standards
- Place IV lines, administer oxygen, apply ECG leads; and assist with catheterizations
- Recognize and respond to adverse reactions, contrast complications, and medical emergencies under supervision
- Provide preliminary observations of imaging findings to the supervising radiologist (not communicated directly to referring physicians)
- Relay finalized radiology reports from the radiologist to referring providers
Participate in quality improvement, safety, and performance initiatives

Qualifications
- Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiologist Assistant program required
- Master’s Degree in Radiologic Sciences required
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required
AHA or American Red Cross (ACLS) certification required

Englewood Health offers competitive total compensation that includes base pay, comprehensive benefits package, and other incentive programs for our employees. The salary shown reflects the minimum compensation; actual compensation considers specialty, relevant experience and training.
Compensation range: $120,000 - $160,000 annually
