Mathis Motors is seeking a reliable and hardworking Automotive Detailer & Service Assistant to join our team. This position plays an important role in keeping our inventory looking its best while assisting with basic vehicle maintenance and lot operations. Responsibilities:
- Detail, wash, vacuum, and prepare vehicles for sale and delivery
- Move and organize vehicles around the dealership lot safely
- Assist with tire replacements, tire rotations, and basic brake work
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and presentation standards
- Help keep the dealership lot, shop, and work areas clean and organized
- Inspect vehicles and report any issues to management
- Perform general dealership support duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to safely operate cars, trucks, and SUVs
- Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions, including heat
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stay active throughout the workday
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Previous detailing or automotive experience is a plus but not required
