In this role, you'll assist customers at checkout, process transactions accurately, answer questions, and help create a smooth and enjoyable shopping experience for every customer.
What Your Shift Will Involve
Every shift is a little different, and you'll play an important role in keeping the front end of the store running efficiently.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Greeting customers with a friendly and professional attitude
- Processing cash, credit, debit, and mobile payments accurately
- Scanning merchandise and completing transactions efficiently
- Assisting customers with returns, exchanges, and general inquiries
- Answering questions about products, pricing, and store promotions
- Keeping the checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Bagging purchases carefully and efficiently
- Assisting with light stocking and maintaining product displays when needed
- Following company cash-handling procedures and safety guidelines
- Working with team members to provide an outstanding customer experience
Typical shifts may include:
- 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
Schedules are posted in advance, and weekend shifts are shared fairly across the team.
