United-Guardian, Inc. is a diversified company that conducts research, product development, manufacturing, and marketing of cosmetic ingredients, pharmaceuticals and healthcare products.
We are currently seeking a compounder to perform manufacturing processes that add value and create final high-quality products. Specific duties include weighing raw materials and finished products, completing batch records and packaging finished products.
Required Education:
- High school diploma or GED
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have an active valid driver's license
- Ability to read, write, comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions in English
- Must have basic mathematic skills
Other Qualifications:
- Ability to use scales and meters a plus
- Must be self-reliant and able to work independently
- Ability to follow manufacturer's specifications and directions
- Adherence to all standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Manufacturing experience a plus
- Knowledge of GMP's a plus
Essential Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk, stand, and frequently lift items weighing up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to bend, lift, turn, push, pull, raise arms over the head, climb stairs and ladders and operate machinery
- May be required to wear protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety gloves, respirator or dust mask, and protective clothing/uniform
- Must be able to drive a forklift
