Duties
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to move, load, unload, and organize inventory efficiently.
- Assist with receiving processes by verifying inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders using warehouse management systems (WMS), ensuring correct items are selected for each order.
- Stock shelves and storage areas systematically to optimize space utilization and facilitate easy access.
- Maintain inventory records, updating stock levels as needed.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all warehouse activities to prevent accidents or injuries.
Skills
- Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with knowledge of warehouse processes and 5S
- Valid forklift certification and experience operating reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and MRP software for inventory control.
- Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures, order picking & packing, and stock replenishment.
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds, loading/unloading trucks, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with effective communication skills to coordinate with team members.
