We are seeking an experienced Marketing & Communications Manager to become an embedded member of our U.S. team.
Although this position is structured as an independent contractor engagement, we are looking for someone who will operate as an integral part of our business rather than as an external agency or consultant.
Important
This is not a remote freelance role.
The successful candidate will be expected to work primarily from our Servcorp office location in Houston or Chicago, participate in regular team meetings, collaborate directly with management and sales teams, and become fully immersed in our products, services, and brand.
We are looking for someone who wants to build a long-term relationship with the company and act as our dedicated marketing and communications lead.
ResponsibilitiesMarketing & Brand Development
- Develop and execute local marketing initiatives
- Increase awareness of Servcorp's flexible workspace, coworking, and virtual office solutions
- Support lead generation and occupancy objectives
- Coordinate marketing efforts with regional and global teams
Public Relations
- Build relationships with local media and business publications
- Draft press releases and company announcements
- Secure media coverage and speaking opportunities
- Promote Servcorp's presence within the local business community
Social Media & Content
- Manage LinkedIn and other business-focused social channels
- Create content that showcases our locations, clients, events, and business expertise
- Develop thought leadership initiatives with company leadership
- Monitor engagement and community growth
Partnerships & Community Engagement
- Develop relationships with chambers of commerce, business associations, startups, and professional service firms
- Represent Servcorp at networking events and community initiatives
- Build strategic partnerships that increase visibility and generate opportunities
Candidate Profile
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, PR, or related roles
- Strong content creation and writing skills
- Experience managing LinkedIn and B2B marketing campaigns
- Proven ability to secure media coverage and build local business relationships
- Comfortable working independently while being accountable to company leadership
- Experience in commercial real estate, flexible workspace, hospitality, professional services, or B2B services is highly desirable
What We Are Looking For
We are not seeking an agency.
We are not seeking someone managing multiple clients full-time.
We are looking for a dedicated marketing professional who can become part of our team, learn our products and services in depth, understand our customers, and represent the Servcorp brand as if they were a permanent member of the organization.
The ideal candidate will spend the majority of their working time from our office, collaborating directly with colleagues and becoming immersed in the day-to-day operations of the business.
Compensation
Monthly retainer or hourly arrangement based on experience and availability.
Expected commitment: approximately 20–40 hours per week.
Long-term engagement preferred.
