Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and versatile Handyman specializing in Labels & Warehouse Logistics to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various facilities and warehouse equipment, ensuring smooth operations across the logistics environment. Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse facilities, including plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, and building interior components.
- Utilize hand tools, schematics, and electrical equipment such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Conduct welding, carpentry, painting, and other mechanical tasks to maintain the integrity of the facility.
- Repair and maintain electrical equipment and systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and technical specifications.
- Support labels and warehouse logistics by maintaining proper signage, labels, and organizational systems within the facility.
- Assist with plumbing system maintenance and repair to ensure optimal water flow and sanitation standards.
- Lead or assist with facilities equipment maintenance operations, including HVAC system repair and building interior upkeep.
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, or electrical components.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service by addressing internal operational needs promptly.
- Support maintenance painting projects to keep the facility visually appealing and compliant with safety standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO), preferably within a warehouse or industrial environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools for various repair tasks.
- Electrical experience including troubleshooting electrical systems with tools like ohmmeters; familiarity with electrical schematics is essential.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing systems, building interior maintenance, and facilities maintenance practices.
- Experience with welding, carpentry, plumbing repairs, and residential painting is highly desirable.
- Ability to read technical schematics and work from detailed instructions for electrical or mechanical repairs.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills in English for clear documentation and collaboration with team members.
