About the Role:
The Global Operations Specialist will serve as a critical connector between U.S. and China-based business functions, ensuring alignment on project deliverables, timelines, and data accuracy. This role is critical in ensuring accurate reporting, smooth logistics, and efficient coordination across inventory, payments, shipping, and sales operations. This role requires deep attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities, and comfort interacting with cross-functional teams at all organizational levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily operational and project management activities between U.S. and China-based teams to ensure alignment on operations and priorities.
- Prepare and analyze data using advanced Excel functions, QuickBase, and prior experience with Salesforce and NetSuite are highly preferred.
- Track and report progress on assigned projects, maintaining meticulous attention to changes in schedules, requirements, and deliverables.
- Translate and interpret conversations, reports, and documentation as needed to facilitate understanding between English and Mandarin speakers.
- Develop dashboards, trackers, and reference documentation to support leadership decision-making related to, inventory replenishment, payment challenges, and growth patterns.
- Coordinate meetings and communications across time zones, using multiple channels (email, virtual platforms, approved apps, etc.).
- Collaborate with global finance, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure data accuracy in systems and reports.
- Identify process gaps and propose practical improvements that increase efficiency and visibility.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin (read, write, speak) required.
- Strong expertise with ERP systems; NetSuite experience a plus.
- Strong expertise with CRM systems; SALESFORCE experience a plus.
- 3 to 5 years (preferred) of relevant experience in a global data-driven, operations, or project coordination role—Project Management education / experience a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, dashboards).
- Proven ability to manage projects, track changes, and maintain accuracy across multiple threads of work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate effectively across cultures and time zones—specifically between China and USA.

Working Conditions
This role is based in a combined office and manufacturing environment, with time split between a computer workstation and the production floor around machinery, material handling equipment, and active manufacturing lines. Standard work hours follow the plant’s day schedule, with occasional early-morning or evening meetings to coordinate with teams and suppliers in China across time zones and to support urgent production or logistics issues. Regular on-site activities may require walking, standing, and use of required personal protective equipment (PPE), and participation in cross-functional meetings to review quality, delivery, and engineering topics.
