You'll walk an assigned route with a hand truck. Delivering packages to residential and commercial addresses.

Duties
- Safely navigate assigned routes on foot to deliver packages promptly and accurately, using the Amazon Delivery App.
- Load and unload parcels using safe lifting practices, including heavy lifting and manual handling techniques
- Deliver packages (up to 50 lbs) by foot in all weather conditions, efficiently, safely and punctually
- Ensure all deliveries comply with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and weight handling standards in the workplace
- Maintain clear communication with dispatch to report delivery status and any issues encountered during routes
- Assist with moving packages within the Greater Los Angeles/SFV Area
- Follow route protocols, ensuring safety at all times while moving between delivery points
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with recipients, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid California State Issued ID (Driver's License not required)
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Have a positive, can-do attitude and be a team player. Come to work on time and be respectful towards your managers and colleagues
- We provide on-the-job paid training so that all of our employees feel confident to deliver.
- Must be physically capable of moving boxes up to 50 lbs. and push a large hand cart through streets, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or delivery driving is desirable.
- Familiarity with a smart phone as you will need to communicate constantly with your driver/dispatchers and use digital apps for delivering packages

Pay: $21.00 per hour
