We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Opthalmic Technician/Scribe to join our healthcare team in Freehold, NJ. As a Medical Technician/Scribe, you will play a vital role in assisting healthcare professionals by accurately transcribing medical records and documenting patient encounters. Responsibilities:
- Accurately transcribe medical documentation, including patient histories, physical examinations, diagnostic test results, and treatment plans
- Record patient encounters in real-time during medical appointments
- Maintain organized and up-to-date medical records
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation
- Assist with data entry and administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Proficient typing skills to efficiently transcribe medical information
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in documentation
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is preferred
- Previous experience or coursework in healthcare or related field is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
