Screen Printing Production Specialist

Print 101 (Tag's Screen Printing) is looking for a motivated Screen Printing Production Specialist to help grow and improve our apparel decorating department. What You'll Do
- Set up and operate manual and automatic screen printing equipment.
- Review work orders and prepare jobs for production.
- Mix inks and select the proper materials for each project.
- Prepare, register, and load screens for production.
- Perform press setup and calibration for accurate, consistent printing.
- Monitor print quality throughout production and make adjustments as needed.
- Troubleshoot printing issues quickly and efficiently.
- Count, fold, package, and prepare completed orders.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area.
- Assist with reclaiming screens and routine equipment maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with the production and customer service teams to ensure jobs are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Continuously look for ways to improve production quality and efficiency.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is someone who:
- Has previous screen printing experience (manual or automatic press experience preferred).
- Understands screen printing fundamentals, including registration, ink management, curing, and quality control.
- Takes pride in producing clean, consistent work.
- Is dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Has strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Works with a sense of urgency while maintaining quality.
- Communicates professionally with coworkers and customers when needed.
- Is willing to learn new equipment, techniques, and processes.
- Graphic design or Adobe Illustrator experience is a plus but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working around inks, cleaning chemicals, and production equipment.
- Ability to safely operate production machinery and follow all safety procedures.
