Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Assembly Worker to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with precision parts, using microscopes for inspection and assembly, and following detailed work instructions to ensure product quality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble small components and subassemblies according to specifications and work instructions.
- Use a microscope to inspect, align, and assemble precision parts.
- Perform quality checks to identify defects and ensure products meet company standards.
- Read and interpret assembly drawings, diagrams, and production documentation.
- Handle delicate materials and components with care.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work collaboratively with production, quality, and engineering teams to meet production goals.
- Report equipment issues, quality concerns, or material shortages to supervisors.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in assembly, manufacturing, or production environments preferred.
- Ability to use microscopes and other inspection equipment.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Excellent attention to detail and focus on quality.
- Ability to follow written instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience assembling electronic, medical device, semiconductor, or precision mechanical components.
- Knowledge of quality control processes and inspection techniques.
- Previous microscope assembly experience.
