Key Responsibilities

- Inspect and triage incoming equipment (walk‑behind and riding mowers, trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, etc.) and document customer concerns.
- Look up parts using our parts systems and add parts and labor lines to repair orders.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on outdoor power equipment for brands such as Cub Cadet, Hustler, Stihl, DeWalt, and TYM, including:
- Oil changes, blades, belts, filters, tune‑ups.
- Diagnosing and repairing fuel, ignition, and basic electrical issues.
- Assembly and setup of new units as needed.
- Follow a defined workflow:
- Morning triage and RO setup.
- Scheduled repair blocks during the day to maximize wrench time.
- Help pull parts and line up jobs for the next day.
- Keep your work area clean, safe, and organized.
- Communicate clearly with the service advisor and other team members about job status and any additional issues found.
Training & Growth
- Entry‑level candidates will receive on‑the‑job training from experienced staff.
- We’ll teach you:
- How to use our dealer systems (service tickets, parts lookup, internal communication tools).
- Standard diagnostic and repair procedures for the brands we carry.
- How to work efficiently and hit realistic billed‑hour targets.
- As you grow, you’ll take on more complex diagnostics and repairs and have opportunities for increased pay and responsibility.
Schedule & Pay
- Full‑time position, typically Monday–Friday, with possible seasonal Saturday hours during the busy season.
- Hourly pay based on experience and skills:
- Entry‑level (little to no experience): targeted starting range around 15 per hour.
- Higher rates available for candidates with strong small engine, outdoor power equipment, agricultural, or automotive experience.

Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift and move equipment and parts regularly (up to 50 lb).
- Basic mechanical aptitude – any hands‑on experience (farm, automotive, equipment, DIY) is a plus.
- Willingness to follow established processes and learn from feedback.
- Previous experience in outdoor power equipment, small engines, agricultural, or automotive repair is a plus but not required.
