Position Overview
Pro-Tek Security Solutions LLC is seeking professional, reliable, and detail-oriented Protective
Service Officers to provide unarmed access control and vehicle gate monitoring for a secure
facility.
This role is responsible for maintaining controlled and safe entry point by monitoring vehicle
access, verifying authorization, and ensuring only approved individuals enter the property.
Officers serve as the first point of contact for visitors, staff, and vendors, and must maintain a
professional demeanor while enforcing site policies and security procedures.
Protective Service Officers must remain vigilant, observant, and attentive throughout their shift
to ensure the safety of personnel, property, and operations.

Key Responsibilities
Access Control & Gate Monitoring
- Monitor and control vehicle access at the facility entry gate.
- Verify authorization and identification for incoming vehicles and visitors.
- Ensure proper documentation of all entries and exits when required.
- Maintain awareness of suspicious activity and report concerns immediately.
Security Monitoring
- Monitor security cameras and surveillance systems.
- Conduct visual observation of surrounding areas to detect unusual or unsafe activity.
- Respond appropriately to security incidents or safety concerns.
Reporting & Documentation
- Complete clear and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs.
- Document security events, suspicious activity, and operational issues.
Professional Interaction
- Provide professional communication with employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors.
- Coordinate and interact with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary.
- Maintain a calm and respectful demeanor while enforcing site rules.
Professional Standards
- Maintain a clean, professional uniform appearance at all times.
- Remain alert, vigilant, and attentive during assigned shifts.
- Follow all Pro-Tek Security Solutions operational policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin Security License (Required)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to complete written incident reports
- Strong observation and situational awareness skills
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior security or protective services experience
- Experience with camera monitoring or surveillance systems
- Previous experience in access control or gate security operations
- Some secondary education (criminal justice, public safety, or related field preferred but
not required)

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
