Click Logistics is seeking an experienced Freight Sales Executive to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate is a proven transportation sales professional with experience developing shipper relationships, identifying freight opportunities, and growing long-term customer partnerships.
This role is responsible for generating new business, managing customer relationships, and expanding Click Logistics' transportation solutions across a diverse customer base.
Responsibilities
- Develop new customer relationships through prospecting, networking, referrals, and industry relationships
- Manage and grow an assigned book of business
- Identify and secure new freight opportunities including spot shipments, contract freight, and dedicated transportation solutions
- Build relationships with shippers, manufacturers, distributors, and supply chain decision-makers
- Understand customer transportation needs and develop solutions that align with service and cost objectives
- Partner with operations, pricing, and carrier management teams to successfully onboard and support customers
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline activity and customer information
Qualifications
- 3+ years of freight brokerage, 3PL, transportation sales, or logistics sales experience
- Proven success selling transportation services directly to shippers
- Existing shipper relationships or an established book of business preferred
- Strong understanding of freight markets, pricing, capacity, and customer expectations
- Demonstrated ability to develop new business and maintain customer relationships
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage priorities in a remote environment
Preferred Experience
- Experience managing a customer portfolio or book of business
- Experience selling truckload, LTL, temperature-controlled, expedited, or specialized transportation services
- History of meeting or exceeding sales objectives
