Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part Time General Cleaners ( 20 to 25 hours per week) flexible schedules 6 am to midnight to join our facilities management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial, residential, and industrial environments. This role is vital in ensuring that all spaces are safe, sanitary, and welcoming for clients, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess strong janitorial and custodial skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality cleaning services efficiently and professionally.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across designated areas.
- Use specialized cleaning equipment and supplies to maintain floors, carpets, windows, restrooms, and common areas.
- Conduct floor care procedures such as buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing to preserve surface quality.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in both commercial and residential settings by adhering to established protocols.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and equipment upkeep.
- Follow safety guidelines during all cleaning activities to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Support industrial cleaning projects that may involve heavy-duty cleaning or specialized sanitation procedures.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when stock needs replenishing.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks while maintaining quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles within commercial, industrial, or residential settings.
- Knowledge of various cleaning techniques including floor care procedures such as buffing and sealing.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies used in commercial cleaning environments.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Basic understanding of facilities maintenance practices; experience with residential painting or minor repairs is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors.
