Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Full-Time 2 Year Old Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment tailored specifically for toddlers. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire young children to explore, learn, and grow through play-based activities and thoughtful guidance. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early childhood development, literacy education, and social skills for 2-year-olds
- Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence in young children
- Engage children in hands-on activities that support motor skills, language acquisition, and basic math concepts using innovative teaching methods like Montessori or other child-centered approaches
- Manage classroom behavior with positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques
- Collaborate with families to share progress updates, discuss developmental milestones, and address individual needs or concerns related to special education or early intervention
- Maintain detailed documentation of each child's progress, including assessments aligned with standardized testing where applicable
- Ensure compliance with childcare regulations, health and safety standards, and child welfare policies at all times
Skills
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings, especially with toddlers aged 2 years old
- Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management strategies
- Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention programs, and literacy education techniques for young learners
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and children
- Ability to implement teaching physical education activities that promote gross motor skills in toddlers
- Knowledge of standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood assessment tools
- Experience with Montessori methods or other child-centered educational philosophies is a plus

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
