ABOUT US
We are a family-owned environmental services company operating from our transfer station and corporate headquarters in Wantagh, New York. Our facility handles regulated and non-hazardous industrial waste streams. We are looking for reliable, hands-on team members to help receive, process, consolidate, quality check, and ship waste materials safely and efficiently.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Waste Processing Technician is a hands-on facility operations role responsible for offloading inbound waste, processing and consolidating materials, performing basic QA/QC checks, maintaining an organized work area, and preparing outbound shipments.
This is an execution-focused position. You will work directly under the direction of the Inventory Coordinator and follow established instructions, facility procedures, waste profiles, and daily work plans.
The right person for this role is dependable, careful, physically capable, willing to learn, and comfortable working in a real industrial environment — drums, totes, roll-offs, forklifts, trucks, pumps, hoses, sludge, odors, PPE, and dirty work.
SCHEDULES AVAILABLE
We are hiring for two full-time positions:
- 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

PHYSICAL AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
This is a hands-on, physical facility role. The work may involve strong odors, dirty materials, oily waste, sludge, heavy containers, PPE, outdoor weather, truck traffic, forklifts, pumps, hoses, and active processing operations.
This is not a desk job, warehouse-only role, or supervisory position. Candidates must be comfortable with real industrial work. The successful candidate will follow direction, work safely, stay organized, and help the team move materials through the facility efficiently.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate is dependable, careful, and willing to learn. You do not need to be a waste expert — but you must be comfortable with physical work, forklift operation, facility equipment, and an industrial environment.
Success in this role means following the plan, asking questions when something seems wrong, communicating issues quickly, keeping the work area organized, and helping the facility safely process and ship materials according to company direction.
Pay: $28.50 - $32.50 per hour
Work Location: In person
