Role Overview
The Sales Representative closes sales, manages customer relationships, and ensures client satisfaction throughout the home improvement project process. The role involves performing inspections, working with insurance adjusters, securing contracts, and handling the documentation needed to move projects forward. Sales Representatives drive business by running company-generated leads and creating new opportunities through referrals.

What You'll Do
- Manage company-provided leads and maintain strong relationships with the customer base.
- Conduct inspections, including photo documentation and measurement collection.
- Guide customers through the insurance claims process when applicable.
- Prepare detailed, customized estimates and proposals.
- Secure signed contracts and collect required down payments.
- Coordinate supplements and upgrades with the operations team for approval.
- Keep customers informed with proactive updates every few days.
- Follow up after job completion, request referrals, and gather online reviews.
- Enter all leads, updates, and sales activity into the CRM.
- Collaborate with the sales manager and teammates to hit shared sales targets.
- Attend sales meetings and 1-on-1s with your Sales Manager.

In your first few months, you get comfortable running company-generated leads, conducting home and roof inspections, and guiding customers through their projects (including the insurance process where it applies). We'll set you up to succeed — inspections involve climbing a ladder, accessing attic spaces, and walking roofs up to an 8/12 pitch, and you'll always have team support available for commercial or complex jobs. If you're hands-on, comfortable being on your feet, and willing to learn, you'll pick this up quickly.
As you hit your stride, you're building lasting customer relationships, keeping clients updated every few days, and turning great work into referrals and reviews. You stay on top of your documentation — photos, contracts, and down payments submitted promptly — because it keeps projects moving and protects your commissions.
At full performance, a successful Sales Representative is consistently generating around $83,500+ in monthly sales, holding a 35%+ closing rate, and maintaining healthy margins (40%+) on their jobs. That level of production is what drives our $80,000–$220,000 on-target earnings, with 25% commission on profit plus bonuses for exceeding quota.
You'll do well here if you have a couple of years of sales experience (in-home sales is a plus), enjoy meeting people and solving problems, stay organized in a CRM, and bring a “1% better every day” mentality. We'll provide the leads, the training, and the support — you bring the drive.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary of $50,000 (paid bi-weekly) for up to 6 months, then fully commissioned.
- On-target earnings of $80,000–$220,000.
- 25% commission on adjusted gross profit, earned monthly upon meeting the minimum threshold.
- Additional 5% commission on self-generated leads.
- After the 6-month salary period, earn an additional 5% commission on adjusted gross profit.
- 401(k) with 4% employer match (eligible after 60 days).
- Individual health insurance coverage (eligible after 60 days).
- Performance-based bonuses paid monthly and annually for those who exceed quota.
Pay: $80,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year
