The Atlantic Group has partnered with an investment firm based in the Greenwich, CT area. They have an immediate need for a Fund Controller to join their team. This position is a full-time contract role that’s around 1-2 months.
Summary:
Seeking a Fund Controller/Fund Manager-level professional to start immediately. This individual will operate at a Fund Manager or Fund Controller level and play a key role in overseeing fund administration deliverables. The ideal candidate will have direct private credit experience and be able to ramp up quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Work Schedule: 5 days a week in the office
Key Responsibilities
-Review and validate NAV packages, fund financials, and reporting prepared by administrators
-Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of financial statements and supporting workbooks
-Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and enhance reporting
-Perform analytical reviews and variance analysis across fund performance and NAV movements
-Maintain and improve fund reporting workflows and controls
-Utilize advanced Excel for data analysis, reconciliations, and reporting support
-Leverage Power BI (a plus) to enhance data visualization and reporting processes
Key Requirements:
-Prior experience as Fund Accounting Manager
-Strong background in private credit (required)
-Experience with Power BI and/or automation tools required
-Experience reviewing NAVs and fund financial statements
-Prior experience with CLOs or similar credit strategies is a plus
-Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivots, data analysis)
-Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
