JOB SUMMARY:
Cash Depot is a nationwide leader in ATM management and financial transaction processing. As such, cash is our most important asset. The Director of Cash Management is responsible for the end-to-end Cash Management value stream, which manages $300-400M of cash in circulation. Cash Management ensures ATMs are filled by working with Banks and Armored Carriers so that cash is available and delivered on time. Additionally, the role will coordinate actions in response to unplanned cash delivery issues. This role leads a team of 7 employees (and growing) and manages key suppliers including Armored Carriers and Banks. The Director of Cash Management will utilize data analytics and establish best practices to ensure that cash is effectively forecasted, cash balanced, and interest expense and bank fees are minimized while maximizing ATM uptime. A successful candidate will have experience in logistics and an understanding of financial topics. Further, they should be able to think outside the box for creative problem solving and have the ability to manage a team. While this role reports to the Finance/Accounting management chain, it leans heavily on logistics expertise.
LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leads the cash management staff who are responsible for forecasting, ordering, and optimizing ATM cash.

Recruits and hires cash management staff and conducts performance evaluations.

Expedites actions to reduce cash-outs incidents

Coordinates training & onboarding programs for new staff and identifies training needs for existing staff.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

Utilize data and metrics to monitor the performance of the cash management department and armored couriers.
- Report out key metrics results of the cash management department and status of key initiatives to leadership.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with banks, armored carriers and key customers.

Oversee Operating and ATM cash account reconciliation protocols.

Forecast, analyze and find solutions to optimize ATM and Operating cash levels.

Identify and implement solutions that reduce interest, courier and bank fee expenses.

Document and maintain standard operating procedures for cash management department.

Continuously pursue opportunities to automate and improve standard operating procedures.

Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address cash-out incidents.

First line of escalation for cash management team members.

Operate as a team player and effectively communicate to other department leaders.

Assist the project management team with the rollout and onboarding of new machines and clients.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS: (Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities)

Bachelor’s Degree in Operations, Supply Chain or a Business related field.

10+ years of previous experience in Operations or Supply Chain or Finance roles.

Previous leadership, supervisory experience required.

Proven ability to lead, coach and develop a team.

Previous experience utilizing dashboards and order management systems.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or other relevant tools.

Operate within the corporate policy guidelines and business practices.

Results oriented and demonstrated driving problems to conclusion.

Excellent communication skills, written/verbal with internal and external contacts.

Proven ability to be organized, detailed, multi-tasker, critical thinker, accurate, thorough and a problem-solver.

Ability to adapt to change in the workplace and assignment of additional responsibilities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, etc.
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, occasional overtime required.
