Social Media InfluencerJob Overview
We are looking for a charismatic, creative, and energetic Social Media Influencer to become one of the faces of National Parks Baseball Resort and help share our story with the world.
This is not a traditional desk job. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys baseball, travel, adventure, storytelling, and creating entertaining content. Your job will be to experience National Parks Baseball Resort and turn those experiences into compelling videos, photos, stories, and social media content that makes players, families, coaches, and baseball fans say:
"We need to go there."
You will be featured across National Parks Baseball Resort's social media channels and will help create an authentic personality around the brand. From exploring the resort and national parks to talking with coaches and players, showcasing themed baseball fields, trying new activities, meeting mascots, and experiencing tournament week, you will be at the center of the action.
The ideal candidate is comfortable on camera, naturally outgoing, creative, and able to connect with an audience without feeling overly scripted or promotional.
Responsibilities
- Serve as an on-camera personality and social media ambassador for National Parks Baseball Resort.
- Create entertaining, authentic, and engaging short-form video content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and other relevant platforms.
- Develop creative video concepts, recurring series, challenges, interviews, behind-the-scenes content, and other formats that keep audiences engaged.
- Showcase the full National Parks Baseball Resort experience, including baseball, themed fields, lodging, food, activities, mascots, merchandise, and the surrounding outdoor adventure.
- Attend games, tournaments, events, and resort activities to capture real-time content and memorable moments.
- Interview players, coaches, families, staff, and other guests to create authentic stories and entertaining content.
- Participate in trends, challenges, and culturally relevant social media formats when appropriate for the brand.
- Help build excitement leading up to the resort's Summer 2027 launch and throughout future tournament seasons.
- Create content that appeals specifically to travel baseball families, players, and 12U and 13U coaches.
- Develop a recognizable personality and voice that audiences associate with National Parks Baseball Resort.
- Collaborate with the Social Media Marketing Manager to execute the overall content strategy and campaign calendar.
- Work with photographers, videographers, designers, resort staff, and leadership to create larger social campaigns and productions.
- Capture spontaneous moments and identify opportunities for content throughout the resort.
- Help promote special events, team experiences, merchandise launches, contests, giveaways, announcements, and resort promotions.
- Engage with followers through comments, direct messages, live streams, polls, Q&As, and other interactive content.
- Help grow the resort's social media audience and encourage followers to share and interact with National Parks Baseball Resort content.
- Monitor social media trends and identify creative opportunities for new content.
- Track the performance of your content and use audience feedback and engagement data to improve future content.
- Represent National Parks Baseball Resort professionally at public events, tournaments, community activities, and promotional appearances.
- Perform other creative and marketing duties as needed.
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience creating social media content, influencing, brand representation, entertainment, sports media, or digital content is preferred.
- Strong on-camera presence and the ability to speak naturally and confidently to an audience.
- Energetic, outgoing, personable, and comfortable interacting with strangers.
- Excellent storytelling skills and a strong understanding of what makes content entertaining and shareable.
- Experience creating short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, or similar platforms.
- Comfortable filming yourself using a smartphone, camera, or other content-creation equipment.
- Basic video editing skills using platforms such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of social media trends, formats, hooks, captions, and audience engagement.
- Ability to improvise and create content spontaneously rather than relying exclusively on scripted material.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interview guests and tell their stories.
- Genuine interest in baseball, travel, outdoor adventure, family experiences, or national parks.
- Comfortable working around youth baseball teams, families, coaches, and guests.
- Professional, reliable, enthusiastic, and able to represent the National Parks Baseball Resort brand positively.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours during the summer tournament season.
- Willingness to work outdoors and participate in resort activities and events.
- Existing social media following or demonstrated ability to grow an audience is a plus, but a large following is not required. Creativity, personality, consistency, and the ability to create great content are more important.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who loves being on camera and knows how to make people feel like they're part of the experience.
You don't have to be a celebrity or have millions of followers. We're much more interested in someone who can pick up a camera and make a great story out of almost anything.
Maybe it's interviewing a coach before the biggest game of his team's season.
Maybe it's following a team as they arrive at the resort.
Maybe it's trying out one of our themed baseball fields.
Maybe it's exploring the mountains after a game.
Maybe it's asking a player which mascot he would choose.
Maybe it's spending a day experiencing the resort exactly as a visiting family would.
Your job is to make people feel like they were there—and make them want to be there next.
The Social Media Influencer will work closely with the Social Media Marketing Manager but will have a unique role as one of the faces and personalities of National Parks Baseball Resort.
This is an opportunity to join an exciting new brand from the beginning, help build its personality and following, and become part of the story as we prepare for our Summer 2027 launch.
If you're the type of person who is always saying "We should film this," this could be the job for you.
