Overview
The Client Care Specialist, or CCS, is the first point of contact for our clients, whether it be over the phone, via email/text, or in person. A CCS should realize that they are creating the critically important first impression of CVC. As such, CCS should always maintain a pleasant demeanor while portraying empathy and care. In addition, CCS act as an information hub for the clients and the rest of the veterinary staff, acting as air traffic controllers by keeping the schedule functioning and directing client interactions and communications, managing incoming/outgoing client/patient information, and handling client transactions. The CCS should be able to deftly handle activity peaks, schedule changes, and difficult situations while “maintaining their cool”.

Position Requirements/Physical Requirements
- Minimum age requirement is 18 years
- Minimum education requirement is a high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum work experience of 1 year in customer service work; client service work in a medical or veterinary office preferred but is not required
- Animal care and/or husbandry experience preferred
- Basic computer skills; typing and working knowledge of MS Office and PDF programs, ability to learn new software rapidly, ability to navigate computer network and Internet.
- Availability to work a variety of day, evening, weekend and holiday shifts (weekend and holiday on a rotating basis).
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor along with a positive attitude; a sense of humor is a plus
- Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing 40 pounds without assistance and objects weighing more than that with assistance

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
